GHOSTFAIRY: Ronan ~ Live ~

A Night Of Surprises.

Wow, Ronan... always been a fan, but never seen him in the *flesh* so to speak.

Surprise Number One.

Ronan ain't a big man, height wise.. I reckon he's about 5'6 or 5'7 at the most...

Surprise Number Two.

He's BUILT very nicely for said 'small' man.

Surprise Number Three:

He's Edgier, Funkier, Sexier, this boy's no angel... He bumps, he grinds, he flirts... * I was agog *

Surprise Number Four:

He sings really strongly and is note perfect.

Surprise Number Five:

Two cover songs all night (stick THAT in yer pipe)

I will never be able to listen to some of those songs without remembering what Ronan did while singing...

I COULD BLUSH!!!! I hadn't expected that!

Lemme give you a clue....

''Loving Each Day'' has lyrics that go ''I want you here...I want you here, I want you here...'' in the chorus... well the Imaginative Irishman found a NEW PLACE for each time he said it... and one time...oooohh la la... Ronan, I never thought of you like that..... before...

During ''Addicted'' Ronan came off the stage and shook/touched hands with people in the first rows....

He sang all my favourites. While I can't remember the order or content of the album songs he sang, I remember hearing my faves: ''The Way You Make Me Feel'' ''In This Life'' ''When You Say Nothing At All'' ''Rollercoaster'' ''The Long Goodbye'' and ''If Tomorrow Never Comes'' along with all his other hits.

He also sang a song that he wrote for his mother, Marie who died of breast cancer five years ago, he created a charity in her name. they've raised over one million pounds in her name for the charity. Good work.

There's an amazing feeling singing along to your favourite songs with one of your favourite artists.

SPOILERS!!!!!ALERT

Okay, now it's time for tour spoilers, so If you haven't been to the show and are going, and don't want to know what happens, well, now's the time to hit the BACK button on your browser...You Gone Yet? No...

Well you must want to know.

He wears the same outfit through, but changes for the finale.

There's a small stage about two-thirds back on the floor. Ronan comes back on and sings from there in the first part of the finale.

He 'floats' above the crowd on his 'platform' back to the stage while he sings 'The Long Goodbye'

As a friend of mine said... You can see why he doesn't want Boyzone anymore.

He's made it. To me, he's crossed a threshold....

You don't look for Boyzone here. Maybe you'd like him to sing some of the songs, but there's more and more of his own that have become favourites, so it's not a disappointment when you don't hear them.

He's a solo star.

I really enjoyed this show. It was adult orientated, no silly girls screaming so loudly that you couldn't hear, very few banners, no feckin' whistles...the odd bimbo ho... but most of all it was

Ronan,

Renamed (not Boyzone),

Repackaged (less pop, more rock),

Rebuilt (that old Boy'z a MAN)

...REMARKABLE....

I was a fan before.

Now?

Loving it...

Can't wait for the next one...
