Maybe I Should Explain...

 When I first started this website, I didn't really know what I wanted to make of it.

 My friends Micheal & James bought me the domain name as a Christmas Gift. It was something I have to say I always wanted.

 Initially I decided to  create it around this character I had developed over the years, a ghostly fairy; it would be a few stories about her adventures, it'd have some cute pictures of fairies and stuff like that.

 I figured kids (as I've worked with kids and love their innate ability to imagine) might like it, but I would have liked to appeal to adults too.

 I've never had a formal lesson in html or web design in my life, I am 'self-taught' which I can be proud of... So my first webpage was just that, one long page, written in the most basic of html. I had to ask people what things were for, why things didn't work, everything really.

 Experimenting with styles, formats and colour eventually made me develop enough skills to broaden my horizons from one page to about 8.

 My first 8 pages were all about Ghostfairy and a pretty little gallery. Friends would email me and I would upload their letters and questions.

It was cute. 'Twee', but cute. :+)

 Anyway, that was 4 years ago and I've developed the website into what it is now,  a broader palette of my interests, activities, thoughts, hobbies etc.   Recently I had to move my Westlife pages (galleries, tour reports, parody pages, fan-fics and poetry) to a separate index because there were more of those than my other pages.

  I still wanted to keep some of my old stuff. You learn where you're going from where you've been.

 I've put some of my older pages in here, although they're not the original versions... They might be here because I've lost interest in updating them or because they're out of date.

 But I thought I'd keep them anyway....
